Well, the first week of 2013 is almost over. That went quickly...... My day was another busy one with an eight hour shift at work, but I had lots of fun. We had a new teacher come in and meet some of the students, and it was kind of cool not being the new person, but being asked to show her around and help her out with any questions she had. I felt very appreciated, and I have been feeling that a lot lately. I don't know if I am just the only one who does things they are asked, or if people are just using me for grunt work, but it seems every time I turn around, the boss has more projects he wants me to work on. I am not complaining in the least, I enjoy learning new things, and ingraining myself more in the company.

Next week I am going to be trained in a new aspect of the business, and I have been asked to work our half off warehouse sale next weekend. I don't know much of what I will be doing, but I get my own user name and password in the software program we use to keep track of leads and purchases, so I'm pretty excited. :) It will be a crazy week though, and my last before school starts again. Yikes, time has flown by this holiday season.

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend; I am going to get to hang out with a great friend tomorrow so I am very excited.

As much as yesterday was a lazy day, today was a busy day. I didn't do much this morning, but boy did they put me to work at work. I don't even know how many envelopes I filled, addressed, return addressed, stamped and sealed; along with probably double that amount of fliers I self addressed, sealed and stamped. Guess what, I'm doing more tomorrow!!! We had an issue come up today with one of the counter workers, and long story short, I am working again tomorrow evening. I am going in at noon instead of three though, because my boss said he will have a very lengthy list of thing for me to do along with all the rest of the mailing. Yeah!! Hey, I'm getting paid for it, so it's not that bad.

That was pretty much my day, I got home and vegged. Oh, and my dad took my mom away for the weekend for the anniversary! It was a surprise, but I knew about it of course :) Party at my house!! (Only joking mom, I promise!)

So, besides sleeping in yesterday, we had all the teens in our youth group over for a pizza party. It was a blast! I ended up hanging a sheet in the basement, printing off a "Happy New Year" banner, and getting a ton of props. The photo booth was a hit, and the pictures are hilarious. The funny part is, even when we weren't taking pictures, almost everyone was wearing a prop. All night long they would switch out hats, or glasses, it was great.

So today was another lazy day, but I did manage to clean up my room and put away my clothes. I also finally changed my address online; I just hadn't gotten around to it yet. But now I know, so the next time I have to change it, it will be a breeze :) (Love you honey!)

I do actually have to leave the house tomorrow and go to work, I am kind of looking forward to going back out into the world. I have so much stuff I wanted to accomplish over break, I have got a lot done, but there is still so much more to do. I start piano lessons again next week, and I have to re-work my schedule, and figure out my classes, so I can work around that. Hopefully it will be a stress free transition, and all of my students will be able to fit into my busy schedule.

I also come up with random wedding ideas everyday. It sometimes gets kind of annoying when I am in the middle of something and get a random thought, but can't do anything about it or even write it down. I am trying to have as much done, and planned as possible ahead of time; I just have to remember what I had planned. :)

Happy New year!!!!!!! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday, and I pray that you have an even better 2013. I hope God gives to you the desires of your heart and prospers you in all that you do. I wish for you to be loved like everyone deserves to be, and to be happy and full of joy in all that you do. Start the new year out right; be yourself and do something that you have always dreamed about doing. Not something stupid, but something you wish to do to better yourself or help another. And of course, eat more chocolate!!!!!

So, I didn't write last night because, well..... I didn't get to bed until after 2am this morning! My cousin, whom I don't get to see very often, but lives just down the road, came by around eight and we just sat up and talked about everything you can imagine until two in the morning. It was loads of fun though. I was going to go to the gym this morning before the vow renewal we have at 2pm, but I literally didn't wake up until nine, and then I went back to sleep until eleven. :) Oh, well.

I did have an amazing idea while I was sleeping. We were talking about weddings last night with my cousin, because she is also a photographer and will be doing my wedding. We started to talk about photo booths, and how I want one, but am probably going to do a homemade one. Anyway, we are having the teens from our church over tomorrow afternoon for a pizza party, and I thought, what better way to practice my photo booth ideas, than to have a photo booth tomorrow. So I have been searching the house for funny props, and I made some mustaches; we are going to pick up some stuff from the dollar store too. I am so excited!!!! I love stuff like this!

Well, I better finished getting ready to go.

I feel like a lazy bum. We were supposed to have some good friends come over this afternoon, so I cleaned up my room, which is a BIG deal, and they got sick and decided to not come over. This, of course, is a total bummer because they live like three hours away and we rarely get to see them.I just hope they feel better soon!

So anyways, my sister, mom and I went out shopping. We went to the bank, and then went to Five Below, which is one of my all time favorite stores. I was looking for a case for my Fire, but I didn't find one that I really liked. I did find a stylus though. After that, we went to Meijer, and I didn't find a case there either. Walmart was the next stop, and I had found a charger set online from them that I wanted. Of course, they didn't have it in the store, so I need to go online again and order it. No case there either :( So the shopping wasn't all that fruitful, but I will keep searching for the perfect accessories for my new toy, which I am loving by the way!

Have a great rest of the weekend!

I really love my new house, and I really love snow; but i really don't like shoveling my new ENORMOUS driveway. The snow was so heavy to, we had at least six inches. So after my escapades with the snow, my mom and I went to see my aunt's new house. Well, it's not actually new, she has lived there for like a year, but we hadn't seen it yet, so it was new to us. It is an amazing Victorian period house, I don't know much about Victorian, but it was old. (I guess that qualifies...) Her and her husband go to antique stores all the time to find new things for the house. All the pictures are old, and in ornate frames, every room has wallpaper, and she has one of those really old ovens you picture in the 1800's. It is totally not my style, but she pulls it off very well, and I guess since she is living there as long as she likes it, it's good.

I did have to work tonight, but it was like a ghost town because everyone seems to be out of town. Hopefully tomorrow morning won't be as bad.....
