Well, I did end up cleaning today; though to be honest, I was hoping that I wouldn't have to. And you should be so proud of me....... I went to the gym. Yes, I went to the gym by myself today, which isn't a big deal, but I like to have a 'motivator' with me most of the time. Usually that is my sister, but she didn't want to overdo it and pass out, since she isn't feeling 100% yet.

My gym, Planet Fitness, has this new machine called the Beauty Angel. It is a red light therapy thing that uses vibration. I don't know if it works yet, but is supposed to help with acne, stretch marks, cellulite, etc. It is also supposed to help 'firm up' your muscles. I hope it works because all you do is stand there, under a fan, while this machine shakes you and vibrates your whole body. It would be the most awesome workout ever if it works. Only time will tell......

Anyways, I got to watch the women's gymnastic team finals tonight, and I have to say, I am glad that the good old USA took gold. Sorry, I have to cheer for my team, but I think everyone did amazing. I would never be able to do any of that stuff. It looks sooooooo hard; and besides, I don't think I would be allowed to eat that much chocolate. Yep, I am definitely not Olympic material; but you know, I am okay with that.

Monday, July 30, 2012

Enter my boring and uneventful day. I was supposed to clean this morning, but my sister was sick so we are going to try for tomorrow. We'll see what happens. I didn't get to go to the gym, but I am going tomorrow for sure. Pinky swear.

So, I sat around all day; watched some of the Olympics, some recorded shows, and played with my new stamps. My grandma is an amazing 'Stamper'. I don't know what you would call it, but she is amazing. Anyway, she gave me some of her old stamps that she doesn't use very often, and also some ink pads and cardstock. I made some little one sided cards and envelopes today just for fun. I don't know that much about stamping, but I am planning on using the stamps in my scrapbooking. If I ever have time to scrapbook that is. It seems like the summer has gone by so fast. I don't even remember half of what I did all summer. Crazy right?

And just in case you didn't know, frozen chocolate that was melted, but you tried to save it...... IS AMAZING. I think it might even be better than regular chocolate. I had a 're-frozen' Kit-Kat today that was divine. Trust me when I say, you should definitely try it sometime.

So, after my week of cleaning, organizing, and running around, I am exhausted. I even took a nap this afternoon. While my family was gone, I didn't get to sleep before midnight at all. I was being productive though; I wasn't just staying up to watch television or surf the internet. Anyways, I have to clean a house tomorrow morning, and I know I will not want to get up. I should probably go to bed soon, but we'll see.....

I really never talk about my boyfriend much, but he is pretty amazing. He calls every night at nine so we can talk; even if we talk for just a few minutes or a few hours. I love to just hear his voice. To me he has one of those voices that you could fall asleep listening to; it's so soothing and makes you relax and calm down. He is very kind and considerate of my feelings, and doesn't mind when I get emotional (which to be honest is all the time). He even buys me chocolate. I know, amazing right! We have been together for almost six years, and he still puts up with my craziness. I really do love him a whole lot; I'm not just saying that either. I couldn't imagine my life without him in it. (Sigh)

Ok, if I don't stop now I am going to write a book about him and we will be here forever. Hope everyone had a great weekend. Happy almost Monday!

Saturday, July 28, 2012

Today was my last day home alone; my family arrived around 4pm. I really enjoyed being alone, though I missed them. I find I get more things done when I am by myself. Example... my room is completely cleaned and de-cluttered. I also finished the blanket I made for my boyfriend's mom.

I said I would try to explain the puppies 'names'. These are not permanent names, but what they will be called until they get their own homes. There are 5 puppies and all are boys; they all are white with black ears/face. One puppy has just the black ears and no other color on him; they are calling him Runt because he is the smallest. Then there is 3 Dot or number 3, he has three black dots all in a row down his back. Nicolin was named by my boyfriend's 5 year old nephew, and he has black all down his right side. Lefty has a black left shoulder; and the one my boyfriend wants to keep has a black right shoulder. He still has not decided on a name for the puppy, but we are still working on it.

Well, I am going to try to get some sleep. I hope everyone has a good rest of the weekend. :)

P.S. just a tip..... don't leave chocolate candy bars in a black car on a 90 degree day, trust me mush is not that good.

Well....... I just got in from hanging with some friends. We were watching the opening ceremonies of the Oympics and had a bonfire. I am exhausted! I cleaned for five hours today. I did get to see the puppies; they are soooooo adorable. I will have to explain their 'names' some other time, I am about to fall asleep at the computer. Hope you all have a good weekend.

Room Redo: Finished!

Well, I am finally finished with my room, with the exception of some clothes that need to be put away and some papers that need organizing. I am soooo excited to be done. A lot of sweat and effort has been put into my room and I am pleased with the finished product. I just hope I keep it clean for a while.....

I am almost finished with the blanket I have been making for my boyfriend's mom. It is coming together great, and I am hoping to finish it tomorrow morning so I can take it to her. Well, actually, it is this morning. I have been working on it and it is already the next day. Time flies.

My grandma gave me a bag a Dove chocolates on Monday, and I almost have them finished. They are sooooo goooood. The smooth texture and the richness are amazing, and very addicting.

I am doing my mom's cleaning job tomorrow (today) all by myself. Yikes! It usually takes two people five hours to do it, but I will only be doing surface cleaning since mom is out of town. I am hoping it doesn't take that long because, I am going to see the puppies afterwards.
I am sooooo excited. My boyfriend is thinking about keeping one of the puppies and we have already started discussing names. He wants something one syllable and something to do with guns (of course). He is such a guy, but I love him! :) So far our favorites are Remy- short for Remington; Marlin- which isn't one syllable, but he likes it; and Sig. I personally like Remy the best, but we'll see.

Room Redo Part 3

Today was great! I finally moved all the furniture around my room to where I want it. I decided to take the headboard and footboard off of my bed. They are wrought iron and curl at the top and bottom. They take up a little more space, so I put the head of my bed against the wall and I am using my dresser for a footboard. By doing this I have two separate spaces in my room; one with my desk and dresser, and the other with my bed. Now all I have to do is finish up the last minute organizing and putting everything back in its place in my room. I hope to have it finished tomorrow and have pics!

My boyfriend's mom's dog had puppies today. I know, it's mouthful right? Anyways, she had two boys this evening, but there are more coming. I am soooo excited, I will try to get some pics of them too. I love puppies:)

Room Redo Part 2

Well, I made great progress with my room today. At least I think I did....... I sorted through most of my stuff and got rid of everything I did not need. I have 2 huge totes of things I am getting rid of or donating. Also 2 garbage bags full of garbage! It is past midnight and I am on a roll, I don't want to stop; but I know I need the sleep for my full day tomorrow. I am hoping to have my room all finished by Thursday. I have already put some things back in my desk drawers, but I haven't moved my furniture yet. We'll see what happens, but there are only like two places in my room that my bed will actually fit in. Fun Times! Anyways, my living room is still full of stuff, but I feel accomplished.

Room Redo Part 1

So, today was my first day without the fam. I did get started on my room (I didn't procrastinate, aren't you so proud?) Everything but my dresser and desk drawers is either in the living room, the dining room or my sister's room. Sorry sis:(  The next step is to go through and seriously get rid of what I don't need or use; that's the hard part. Then I need to figure out how I am going to rearrange my room. I don't have many options because my room is basically a small L. Really small. Then I need to vacuum and dust, and put everything back. I am going to try to have everything more organized and in its own place when I put it back. I usually end up getting frustrated, and just throw everything back in my room wherever it will fit. Then there's the closet...... I haven't gone in there just yet, I'm not sure if I am going to wait and do that after my room is done, or if I am going to do it with my room. I also need to go through my clothes and get rid of some things I never wear. I also have tons of stuff on my closet shelf I need to go through. Some stuff I am saving for when I have kids, but some things just aren't necessary, and I will have to crack the whip on myself and get rid of it. Well, wish me luck. I won't be doing all of it tomorrow, because I will be at my boyfriends for part of the day. Hopefully I will get some stuff done before and after I am at his house.

Sunday, July 22, 2012

Well, my parents and sister are leaving tomorrow at 5 am, so I will be alone until Saturday. Hopefully I will get everything on my list done. Yes, there is a list. What? Lists are good; its how I remember everything.

If I haven't mentioned yet that my parents are amazing, and yes I've mentioned it, they are! They brought me home Arby's cheese sticks and ranch. I don't care where you get them or if they are homemade or frozen, cheese sticks are AMAZING.

I am also trying to finish a blanket I am crocheting for my boyfriend's mom's birthday. She has two sons in the army so I am making a blue and red pin-wheel throw blanket and I am going to join the pieces with white yarn. Hopefully it will turn out and I will post a picture.

Hope you all had a great weekend, and enjoy your Monday.

Saturday, July 21, 2012

Well, today I got up at a decent time and went shopping with my sister. Of course, the store I needed to go to didn't have what I wanted, but we still had a good time. We also went to a friend's open house later in the day and then visited my great aunt and uncle. Pretty boring, I know.

I actually did get what I wanted from another store. My dad took a detour, and drove me to the mall. Love you daddy! My mom also got an early birthday/Christmas gift today. My dad bought her a laptop of her own. We will see how it goes...... Don't get me wrong, she is not totally technology illiterate; she just doesn't understand all of the different things involved. She will get the hang of it though. :)

So...... I am spending all of next week home alone. Whoo! Party at my house! (Not literally) I actually am going to take everything out of my room, get rid of the junk, and donate what I don't need. Then I will move everything back in; hopefully there will be less stuff going in than what came out. :) I am also going to try to go to the gym a lot this week, but we will see what happens there too. Hope you all have a great rest of your weekend!

The Piano Guys.

One of my favorite You Tube channels is The Piano Guys. Since I play the piano, I can really relate to the piano player and the music that he does. There are five total piano guys, but most of them are behind the scenes. The main two guys are the piano player, Jon Schmidt, and the cellist, Steven Sharp Nelson. Whether together or separate, they play some AMAZING music. Their talents are just unbelievable, and the love what they do. You can see on their faces that they have so much fun playing, composing, or just fooling around. They are popular everywhere, and have cds, mp3s, and sheet music for sale on their website.

They are famous for taking a popular song, and putting a whole new twist on it. Their newest video came out yesterday, and it was their version of One Direction's 'What Makes You Beautiful'. They used all five piano guys for this video and one piano. It is pretty amazing if I do say so myself. You should really check out thier website and You Tube channel, you will like what you hear.

Cleaning.

Just a bit of advice for future reference..... cleaning an empty house is NOT easier than cleaning a house that someone is living in. O my word! My mom, sister and I went with a friend to do a cleaning job this morning. This house is getting ready to be sold, so we were basically cleaning it for the realtor. WOW! It was disgusting. I am not even kidding when I say disgusting. We went to get a spot off a wall and discovered that the wall was a different color! The sinks were caked with grime, dust was everywhere and behind the refrigerator, well, we won't even go there. It took four people over 5 hours to clean a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home with a basement. My mom's Friday job has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, plus a den, large living/dining room, and a huge basement; and that takes two people only 5 hours. Yes, it was that bad. UGGGHHH! I am soooo exhausted. If you have the choice, don't ever sign up for cleaning vacant homes. Well, unless they haven't been vacant for a month, then maybe they won't be that bad.

Today was an okay, average day. I really didn't do anything special or exciting. Fun times! I did get to go swimming though. One of the cleaning jobs my mom has is at an amazing house with a saltwater pool. Yes, saltwater. I guess it is supposed to help with buoancy????? Anyway, the lady who owns the house is amazing and lets us come over whenever and swim, or just hang out. She also has us house/pet sit for her two dogs. She spoils us like crazy when we are there. She takes us out to eat all the time! I think she just enjoys having someone around to talk to. (Except for the dogs of course!) She also lives on a lake and has offered to take us tubing. We haven't gone yet but one of these days hopefully we will go out on the boat and maybe tube or just chill. She is pretty cool for being up there in age. Her kids are married and have kids of their own, and her husband (who was a lawyer) passed away a couple years ago. I enjoy hanging out with her, she says the craziest things sometimes though. She will say something, and I just look at her and think 'where in the world did that come from'. She has no filter, but that makes it all the more fun.

I don't know about you, but I absolutely hate making phone calls. Well, actually I talk on the phone a lot to people I know; it's the people I don't know that scare me. Even if I kind of  know the person, I find myself wishing for voicemail. I know horrible, right! I don't even enjoy calling the pizza place. When I have to or I am made to call someone, I get a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach, and it won't go away 'till I make the call. Ughhhh. Not that it is any easier to talk to people face to face; I guess I'm a little introverted, not horribly, just a little.

I had an amazing brownie sundae today. I mean REALLY AMAZING. It was to the point that others said it was too sweet, and I was saying 'Bring it on!' It was covered, really covered with whipped topping and chocolate sauce too. AMAZING. Sorry I like using caps, its fun. :)
Well, try to stay cool. Hopefully you aren't part of this giant heat wave spreading across earth.

Show Me Cute.

Today, I would like to introduce you to one of my favorite You Tube channels........ Show Me Cute. This channel is full of great DIY tutorials and awesome ideas. From painting and decorating ideas, to cute fashion accessories, this channel has it all. Jenny is an amazing painter and shows just how simple it can be to spruce up your house, or add some pizazz to your wardrobe. She also has many food tutorials like, how to do chocolate dipped strawberries. (Which is one of my favorites; healthy and chocolate, it can't get any better.) Also, her tutorial on homemade Oreo cookies is AMAZING! From her back to school ideas to her impressive accessories and summer activities you can do with your kids; she has built up an amazing reputation for always having an idea for something cute.

Coupons.

Well, today was a pretty awesome day. Along with the other many things I enjoy doing, I love couponing. Now I'm not an "Extreme Couponer" by any means, but I have a binder full of coupons, and I love getting a great deal. Today, I got Zest soap for free at Rite Aid, and Speed Stick for $1 at Meijer. I told my dad he has no excuse to stink for the rest of the summer; I just stocked him up on soap and deodorant. :) I don't get things for free or a dollar all the time, but I get some good deals on the basic health and beauty needs, and a dollar off some of the groceries.

My dad actually helped me start my binder by buying me baseball card holders. The sleeves are perfect for fitting coupons, and then can be organized by cold food, meat, other food, candy, and health and beauty. I also carry around a zippered bag in my purse, so I can put receipts in it and the coupons I need for that day. I love getting Up Rewards from Rite Aid and Extra Bucks from CVS. I realized it isn't free stuff I am getting with these, but it feels great to walk in the store and get something for "free" or only a couple dollars.

Couponing gives me a satisfaction just knowing I have saved money, no matter how little or much. It makes me feel good, and accomplished when I can go into a store and pull out my coupons and my savings card. I don't know, I'm probably just cheesy. But I love it! :)

Bride Day.

One of my all-time favorite shows is..... Say Yes To The Dress. As some of you may know, on TLC, Friday is Bride day; a day packed with bridal shows and every girl's dream. (sigh) I have always fantsaized about my wedding and my dress, and these shows have given me great ideas, and some not so great ideas. I love to watch and say, "I love that idea!" or "I am never going to do that!" Some brides seem so...... crazy, for lack of a nicer term. They have all these weird ideas, and plans, and nobody is going to change their mind. Granted, I have gotten some wonderful ideas from these shows. Sometimes it is just fun to laugh at the crazy bridesmaid's dresses and the crazy people they take with them to their appointments. I don't know how many times I have looked at my sister and said "If you ever act like that at my wedding, you are in sooo much trouble." She is a good sister though; she knows when to speak up and when not to.

Four Weddings is also a great show where 4 brides compete to see who has the better wedding. To me, I wouldn't want other people judging my wedding, I would just want to have a wonderful time and enjoy my day. Some of the brides are so petty. The littlest of things happen and they dock major points off that bride's score. If it rained and an outside ceremony had to be moved inside, or the power went off, they would dock points. It's not like brides can control the weather on their big day, they have soooo much more to worry about; be nice. Ugh. Sorry. I just believe everyone should be nice and supportive on someone else's big day.

One of the WONDERFUL ideas I got from bridal shows is a candy buffet. I am totally planning on having a color coated candy buffet at my wedding, along with my chocolate fountain of course! A wedding without a chocolate fountain.... well I am being supportive, so I will just say, I could have been better.

You know your parents love you when....

I have always known my parents adored me. They have to because I am their first born. :) Anyways, sometimes I can really tell how much they love me, like today when they brought me one of my most FAVORITE ice creams.... Mint Chocolate Chip. I really love my mint and my chocolate.

My mom shows me how much she loves me by putting up with me ( ha-ha) and leaving me notes. She has done it for a while now, she used to put them on my bed, and sometimes in my luggage when I would travel. Or she would write a to-do list for me and my sister, but always put 'I Love You' on the note. My dad is probably the biggest 'Manly-Man' there is, but when he gets emotionally talking about how proud he is of me..... I cry of course, but I know he really loves me more than I could ever imagine.

My parents are really the greatest ever. (Sorry to all the other parents out there, but you had to know.)
They may get on my nerves sometimes, but I wouldn't trade them for anything.

I love you Mom and Dad!!!

Piano

So, besides being a major chocoholic, loving sappy movies, hating rain, and liking cupcakes...... I also play the piano. I'm not perfect, but I have been playing for a very long time; and I also teach lessons. Today was my lesson day, and I taught two nine year old girls. Let me tell you, they are TOTAL opposites. The first is very busy and distracted easily; she likes to take up half of the lesson time telling me all about the piano and how this is more important than that, and how the brain helps you to be smart, and that if you are smart you don't need lessons, but they may help you. Trust me, those were almost exact quotes! The other girl (thank goodness I ended on a good note) is very meek, and focused. Today was her first lesson, and she has already passed the other girl who is on her second lesson. She understood very well, and comprehended amazingly well. She seems to be more eager, and more mature than the other, and she was a dream to teach. I wish all students could be like her, but I know that they won't all be. :(

P.S. - raw chocolate chip cookie dough is better than the cookies themselves!

Cupcakes!

Today, my sister and I babysat five kids. Yes, FIVE! They are good kids, so it wasn't that bad. Anyway, one of the girls turned 6 today, and her mom sent ingredients to make cupcakes. My sister is more of the "Playmate" babysitter and I am the "Take-Charge" babysitter, so of course, I made the cupcakes. They were strawberry cupcakes with strawberry frosting and multi-colored sprinkles. To make them even better, the cupcake liners were covered with Disney princesses. :) She loved her cupcakes, and I loved making them.
I really enjoy baking, and always say I am going to do more of it; but....I never have the time to do what I would like. I love working with frosting and told my family I want a frosting gun for Christmas.
I also went to Joann Fabric's today and bought some mini cupcake liners. I haven't made any mini cupcakes yet, but they are sooooo cute, I can't wait!

Bowling & Dairy Queen

Almost every Monday night, my family and I go bowling with some of our good friends. There is a place by our house that has $1 games and shoes on Monday nights, and it is a great deal. So tonight, I actually broke 100, which is really good for me. I almost did a happy dance, and then realized I would probably just embarrass myself. :)

Afterwards, we have been going to Dairy Queen to get ice cream. We finally decided tonight that we should probably find a healthier alterative or we are going to gain some weight. Anyways.... I tried the new Chocolate Candy Shoppe Blizzard, and it was AMAZING! It had chunks of chocolate and some were filled with a hazelnut creme. I wasn't sure about the hazelnut at first, but it was really good. Now I am going to need to run a few miles, so I can feel better about eating all those calories.

I hope everyone had a great Monday, I know I did. (I got to take a nap!) Yeah, I take naps.

Weekends. They can be a wonderful thing, but when they end, it is not as wonderful. I love relaxing on the weekends with my family and friends, and not having to worry about work or things I have to do. Monday is the most depressing day of the week. It is the day you wake up and say, "I need four more hours of sleep. I wish it were the weekend." Tomorrow, that is exactly how I will feel, I guarantee it.

For those who are sappy romantics, I have a great movie for you to look up. My mom (who is the only one who will watch chick flicks with me) and I just finished watching a Hallmark movie titled "Fixing Pete". It was a great story about a fashion writer giving a sports writer a "makeover". If you have ever watched the CBS show "Numbers" Dylan Bruno, who plays Colby, is Pete the main character who is getting made over. The fashion writer is actor Brooke Burns.

Anyways... I hope you all had a great weekend, and are ready to wake up tomorrow wishing it wasn't Monday. :)

Saturday, July 7, 2012

Today my boyfriend's nephew Cole turned 5! Despite the heat, we had a great party with family and friends. Cole is a riot. He is extremely smart for his age, and loves many things. His dad spoiled him like crazy today, and got him a Thomas toy, a Hulk toy, a Lego toy, an Army toy, a Chuck toy...... you get the picture. Personally, I went more traditional and got him something that any little boy would love, a Super Soaker! Yeah, he loved that, but I don't know if those who got wet enjoyed it as much...

Since we finished house/dog sitting, we are now back home :) My mom, who is amazing, saved us some of her amazing mint chocolate chip Klondike Bars, and man, were they good. When you combine the two wonderful things of mint and chocolate, you can't go wrong. You just can't!

I am such a procrastinator; my sister came home and started unpacking already. I will definitely wait until Monday, or maybe Tuesday, to even look at my pile of dirty clothes. I am horrible! I just can't ruin a weekend by doing laundry, it is not right. :)

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend, and stay safe!

Summer

Summer wouldn't be summer without two things... baseball and fireworks. Tonight I went to see fireworks with my amazing family, and while we watched the fireworks we listened to a baseball game on the radio. Now the only thing that would make it even more like summer would be hot dogs, but I normally don't eat hot dogs at 10pm. :) My favorite fireworks are the 'weeping willows' and the fireworks that change color.

We finish dog sitting for Chauncey tomorrow :( He is such a cutie, and I am going to miss him. I finally finished all the Harry Potter movies, and my ice cream! Hope everyone has a safe and happy weekend.

Thursday, July 5, 2012

Well, today was a boring, do nothing day in which I did.... nothing. Ok, not really nothing, I did clean some, watched some television, and as always..... ATE CHOCOLATE!!! I almost finished my quart of chocolate ice cream, and probably will before the night is over.

My sister and I are dog sitting for a little dachsund this week, and his name is Chauncey. He is so darn adorable :) He is the easiest dog we have sat for. He barks when he needs out, he barks when he needs in, and he barks when he is hungry. He loves to cuddle, and hide under blankets. Sometimes he hides under blankets, and only his nose is peeking out. It is soooooo cute!

There was a horrid storm at 4 am this morning, and I thought we were going to have a tornado. The wind, rain, and thunder were soooo loud it woke me up, and put out the power. Luckily, the power came back on at about 11 am, so we have air again! YEAH! It is so hot out; I don't know how I have lived without air my whole life. I love house/dog sitting when it comes with air!

Happy Birthday America!

I would like to say thank you to all of the soldiers who have served and are still serving our country; putting their lives on the line every day for the freedoms we take for granted. Stop and think every day of the sacrifices they have made for you.

I hope you all had a wonderful July 4th, and got to spend some quality time with family and friends. I spent my day with my boyfriend's family and adorable nephews. We tried to spend some time out side, but the temperature reached over 100 degrees, so it was kind of miserable.

Have you ever heard of a Choco Taco?? I found out what it was today, and it was AWESOME! It was a taco made of chocolate waffle cone, and filled with ice cream and hot fudge. You should definitely try one. I HIGHLY recommend it.
I also scored big today and got 2 quarts of FREE ice cream!! WHOOOOOO! I had 6 dollars in up rewards from Rite Aid, and Breyers ice cream was on sale 2 for $6, so i walked out of the store without paying a penny! I totally got my chocolate fix for today, how about you??

Rain. Why I hate it.

Don't get me wrong, I understand that rain is very useful and needful; but I hate driving in it. I don't mind driving in a lite rain, or even walking in it, but torrential downpours are horrid! Today I had to drive on the highway in the rain. It wasn't horrible at first, but soon the downpours came and you could barely see the road. People around me kept going 70mph, and I'm like, "Hello, you could die if you don't slow down, or you could kill me!"

Anyways...... so I don't like rain, oh well, I have to get used to it. On a side note, I do like playing in the rain. I know that sounds childish, but it really is fun. When I have nowhere to be, and I haven't spent hours on my hair, I love to just stand in the rain, and soak it all in. (pun intended) Rain, is also a good inspiration. I dabble with the guitar a bit, and have written most of my songs while sitting under my covered deck, watching the rain. I guess it has a calming effect on me and inspires me to write.

Well, I wish all of you in the good old USA a happy fourth; and those of you else where a wonderful celebration of your nation's birthday whenever it may be.

Well today I went to the mall with my little sister, my boyfriend, and my boyfriend's nephew. We went back to Charming Charlie's of course, and my sister got 3 pairs of shoes and 3 purses for fifteen dollars!!!! Now that is an amazing bargain:)

Anyways.....  other than that, I've just been laying around all day, watching Harry Potter movies. I have never seen all of them, so I started on the first one and am planning to watch them all tonight.

Now, I am going to find some chocolate or maybe some peanut butter.....

Sunday Dinner

Every Sunday, my dad's side of the family meets at my great aunt's to have a family dinner. Today, we had some wonderful chicken cooked in gravy, along with corn and potatoes. But the best part of the meal was the dessert........ Brownies topped with vanilla ice cream and hot fudge! They were sooooooooooooo goooooooood!!!!!!

Ugh. As much as I loved the amazing dessert, I now need to run three or four miles to burn off all those calories:(  I will get to that tomorrow (maybe).

Just a tip for future reference: don't watch a movie about food, say, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, when you are hungry. Great, great advice. I should listen to that........Oops, too late, I'm hungry.
